BlueOne - The Beach Challenge

How can I Register?
Prior to Race Day - Online registration is the only method you can find the link on our home page.
Number Pick Up?
Athletes will pick up there Timing Chip, T-shirt and get their number written on their Arm Saturday morning before the event. Registration will be open at 7am - Sharp!
What Make’s BlueOne different?
Unlike other obstacle course races, BlueOne is a physical and mental challenge to test your fitness against the tried and true training methods of one of the Fittest Surf Rescue Teams in the U.S.
Post Race Meal - details?
After a physical challenge like BlueOne an athletes deserves some refreshment, we will be sure that you are PROPERLY Refreshed!
We encourage spectators to come and enjoy all that BlueOne has to offer, we will have spectator viewing locations throughout the course. There is a Spectator Fee of $15.00(payable online or in person on race day) - this covers additional spectator insurance as well as access into our Post Race Festival Pavilion, Photo ID Will be Required!
Ample Free Parking is available at the location. There will be staff to direct you to the BlueOne parking lot, with changing areas and showers (only cold water - but still showers).
What if there is inclement weather?
The BlueOne Challenge is a rain or shine event. In the event of a severe weather situation, i.e. Hurricane, participants will be notified via email or text message in advance of the event.
Can I bring Food or Alcohol?
No outside food or alcohol will be allowed. The Post Race Festivities will include a meal and beverages. There will also be Concession Stands for purchasing food throughout the event for spectators and participants.
Will there be a Bag Drop?
There will not be an official bag drop, extensive on-site parking allows participants immediate access to their vehicles. VIP Teams of 6 or more participants will be provided a Tent and table where they can stash their belongings inside of the Post Race Festival Pavilion.
Will there be Porta Potties on the Course?
There will be facilities available. With the particular design of the Race Course at this Horseneck Beach Location allows for the Porta Potties to be centrally located and you will pass them a couple times.
What to Wear?
Normal running shoes, wear lightweight stuff that dries quickly. Although there is No Swimming Involved, you will experience portions of the race in the shallow surf, plan accordingly. We recommend a change of clothes for the Post Race Festivities.
Shoes for the Final Beach Portion?
You can either complete the event with your shoes on (there is no swimming - only sprints in and out of the water. Or you can leave your shoes at the 1st Lifeguard Stand and they will be returned to the finish line area - You are responsible for identifying your shoes and we are not responsible for lost or stolen items. We recommend leaving your shoes on.
The insurance fee is a mandatory part of the registration, as it covers you if you get injured. Even with your own insurance, every participant is required to purchase is it in case of accident or if the insurance you have does not fully cover you.
The processing Fee is a standard online transaction charge that allows our 3rd party registration platform to securely process your credit or debit card transaction and to register for the BlueOne Challenge.
Photo ID Required?
Yes – You MUST Bring a Photo ID with you. You will not be able to pick up your race packet without a Photo ID.
